We embarked on the 15-day tour covering Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa, and it was absolutely seamless. The highlight was definitely the diversity of the trip—from the thunderous beauty of Victoria Falls and the sunset cruise on the Zambezi River to the incredible boat safari in Chobe where we saw massive herds of elephants. John Ekkenberg and the team ensured every detail was perfect, making this a truly unforgettable journey filled with nature and adventure.
Our trip gave us the best of both worlds. We started with the tranquility of the Africa Dream Safari Lodge in Thabazimbi, where we could spot game right around the lodge and relax by the pool. The transition to Cape Town was magical; visiting the penguins at Boulders Beach and taking in the views from Table Mountain were experiences we will never forget. It was the ideal mix of the wild Limpopo bush and the vibrant culture of the Mother City.
As a hunter, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. The lodge is perfectly situated in a malaria-free area near the Botswana border, offering great access to trophy hunting. We had excellent opportunities to hunt species like Kudu and Blue Wildebeest. Beyond the hunt, the hospitality was top-notch, with memorable dinners served in the bush and exciting night safaris that brought the landscape to life. I highly recommend Africa Dream Safari for anyone looking for a professional and personal touch.
